Merle and Dorothy Kurpjuweit founded Gershaw Auto in September of 1985. What started as a 2 bay shop with Merle as the only licensed technician, has now grown into a modern six-bay shop with six fully licensed technicians. Merle has cultivated a strong reputation with his staff comprised of highly trained professionals, most of whom have been with the company for many, many years. Even with the success and resulting growth, Gershaw Auto remains an independent family business. Merle’s own daughter is among Gershaw’s trusted staff.
